1979 No. 140 FEDERAL COURT RULES - RULE 11.23

Procedure on default
23. (1) Where a party is in default in filing and serving any pleading as
required by this Order, any other party may-

   (a)  apply pursuant to Order 20, rule 4 for an order that the proceeding be
        stayed or dismissed or for the pronouncement of judgment; or

   (b)  move on notice for an order that pleadings be filed and served within
        the time limited in the order.

(2) An order under paragraph (1) (b) may be subject to such terms and
conditions, and may specify such consequences for non-compliance with the
order, as the Court thinks just.
