1979 No. 140 FEDERAL COURT RULES - RULE 36.5

Settlement without lodgment
5. (1) Where the entry of an order is authorised by the Rules or by a
direction of the Court, the Registrar may, subject to sub-rule (3), draw and
settle the order.

(2) The Registrar may exerecise his powers under sub-rule (1)-

   (a)  notwithstanding that no party has lodged a draft with him; and

   (b)  without appointing any time or place for attendance of the parties on
        settlement.

(3) The Registrar shall not exercise his powers under sub-rule (1) unless-

   (a)  the Court so directs, or

   (b)  a party so requests.
