1979 No. 140 FEDERAL COURT RULES - RULE 52.27

Settlement
27. At the appointment to settle the appeal papers the Registrar shall-

   (a)  determine what documents and matters shall be included in the appeal
        papers and the order of inclusion and such other matters as he thinks
        fit concerning the preparation of copies of the appeal papers;

   (b)  settle the index in accordance with rule 28;

   (c)  determine the number of copies of the appeal papers required;

   (d)  obtain an estimate of the duration of the hearing; and

   (e)  if practicable, fix a date for hearing or list the appeal for hearing
        in an appellate sittings of the Court.
