ADOPTION ACT 2000 - SECT 60
When is consent to be given?
60 When is consent to be given?
Consent to the adoption of a child cannot be
given unless it is given--
(a) at least 30 days after the child is born, and
(b) at least 14 days after the person giving the consent is given a copy of
the instrument of consent and the mandatory written information (if required).
