For the purposes of this Part--
(a)
"Real estate" has the same meaning as in Part 2 of the Probate and Administration Act 1898 .
(b)
"Purposes of administration" includes the payment in a due course of administration of the debts, funeral and testamentary expenses duties and commission, and the costs, charges, and expenses of the executor or administrator, and any costs which may be ordered to be paid out of the estate.
(c) A power to mortgage includes power to remortgage from time to time for the purpose of paying off a mortgage executed under the power.
