Power to dispense with rules
67 Power to dispense with rules
(1) In relation to particular application proceedings, the court may, if of
the opinion that it is in the interests of justice to do so, dispense with or
vary a requirement of the rules.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), the
court may make directions as to the conduct of application proceedings.
(3)
The power conferred by this section does not extend to any rule declared by
the rules to be mandatory.
