CRIMES (DOMESTIC AND PERSONAL VIOLENCE) ACT 2007 - SECT 98KA
Part has no effect on sexual assault communications privilege
98KA Part has no effect on sexual assault communications privilege
(1) The collection, use or disclosure of information under this Part does not
affect the application of Division 2 of Part 5 of Chapter 6 of the
Criminal Procedure Act 1986 to any of that information that is a
protected confidence.
(2) This section applies whether or not a
protected confider consents to the collection, use or disclosure of the
information under this Part.
(3) In this section,
"protected confidence" and
"protected confider" have the same meanings as they have in Division 2 of Part
5 of Chapter 6 of the Criminal Procedure Act 1986 .
