Decision against taking action
35 Decision against taking action
(1) The Secretary may decide to take no action if the Secretary considers that
proper arrangements exist for the care and protection of the child or
young person and the circumstances that led to the report have been or are
being adequately dealt with.
(2) If the Secretary decides to take no action,
the Secretary must make a record of the reasons for the decision.
