CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS (CARE AND PROTECTION) ACT 1998 - SECT 91A
Interpretation
91A Interpretation
In this Part--
"parent" , in relation to a child or young person, means the following--
(a)
the child's or young person's birth parent,
(b) if the child or young person
has been adopted--the child's or young person's adoptive parent.
"parent capacity order" means an order requiring a parent or
primary care-giver of a child or young person to attend or participate in a
program, service or course or engage in therapy or treatment aimed at building
or enhancing his or her parenting skills.
