CHILDREN'S COURT ACT 1987 - SECT 13
Single member to exercise jurisdiction of the Court
13 Single member to exercise jurisdiction of the Court
(1) The jurisdiction of the Court may be exercised: (a) by the President, or
(b) by a Children's Magistrate, or
(c) a Magistrate,
sitting alone.
(2) In
this section,
"Magistrate" means a Magistrate authorised by the President and
Chief Magistrate to exercise any function conferred or imposed on a Children's
Magistrate by or under this or any other Act.
