Failure to give notice
49 Failure to give notice
(1) The secretary of an association, if of the opinion that a person obliged
or entitled to give a notice under this Division has not done so, may serve on
the person a written notice requiring the person-- (a) to inform the secretary
whether or not the person is obliged or entitled to give a notice under this
Division, and
(b) if the person is such a person--to give the notice,
within
14 days after service of the notice given by the secretary.
(2) A person
given a notice under subsection (1) is not entitled to vote at a meeting of
the association unless, before the meeting and whether or not within the time
allowed in the notice-- (a) the requirements of the notice are complied with,
and
(b) the name of the person is entered on the association roll.
