CHILD PROTECTION (OFFENDERS REGISTRATION) ACT 2000 - SECT 7
Notices may be given by Commissioner of Police
7 Notices may be given by Commissioner of Police
(1) The Commissioner of Police may cause written notice to be given to a
registrable person of-- (a) the person's reporting obligations, and
(b) the
consequences that may arise if the person fails to comply with those
obligations,
if the Commissioner suspects that the person may not have
received notice, or may otherwise be unaware, of those obligations.
(2) The
regulations may make provision for or with respect to the manner and form in
which written notice must be given under this section.
