DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS ACT 1986 - SECT 4
Director
(1) The Governor may appoint a Director of Public Prosecutions.
(2) The
Director shall have and may exercise the functions conferred or imposed on the
Director by or under this or any other Act.
(3) The Director is responsible
to the Attorney General for the due exercise of the Director's functions, but
nothing in this subsection affects or derogates from the authority of the
Director in respect of the preparation, institution and conduct of any
proceedings.
