EDUCATION ACT 1990 - SECT 62
Sale of schools
(1) If a registered non-government school is sold, written notice of the sale
is to be given by the purchaser to the Minister within 7 days after completion
of the sale. : Maximum penalty--5 penalty units.
(2) The unexpired portion of
the school's current period of registration, if greater than 6 months, is to
be taken, for the purposes of this Act, to be 6 months only or such longer
period (not exceeding the unexpired portion) as the Minister determines from
the date of completion of the sale.
