HOME BUILDING ACT 1989 - SECT 103Q
Constitution of Guarantee Corporation
(1) There is constituted by this Act a body corporate with the corporate name
of the Building Insurers' Guarantee Corporation.
(2) The
Guarantee Corporation is, for the purposes of any Act, a statutory body
representing the Crown.
(3) The Guarantee Corporation is subject to the
control and direction of the Minister in the exercise of its functions.
(4)
The seal of the Guarantee Corporation is to be kept by the chief executive and
may be affixed to a document only-- (a) in the presence of the chief executive
or a member of staff of Insurance and Care NSW authorised in that behalf by
the chief executive, and
(b) with an attestation by the signature of the
chief executive or that member of staff of the fact of the affixing of the
seal.
