HEALTH RECORDS AND INFORMATION PRIVACY ACT 2002 - SECT 66
Referring privacy related complaint to Commonwealth Privacy Commissioner
(1) The Privacy Commissioner may refer a complaint made under this Act to the
Commonwealth Privacy Commissioner if it appears that the complaint should be
dealt with by the Commonwealth Privacy Commissioner.
(2) The
Privacy Commissioner may communicate to the Commonwealth Privacy Commissioner
any information that the Privacy Commissioner has obtained in relation to the
complaint.
(3) This section does not affect the operation of section 47
(Referring privacy related complaints to other authorities) of the PPIP Act.
