(a) provides that an offence under the Act may be dealt with summarily by the Local Court or, in the alternative, by another court, and
(b) imposes a limit by reference solely to an amount of money (however expressed) on the penalty that the Local Court may impose when dealing with such an offence,that limit, unless otherwise expressly provided by the Act, does not affect any non-monetary penalty that may be imposed by the Local Court for the offence.
