INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ACT 1996 - SECT 54
Entitlement to unpaid parental leave
(1) An employee is entitled to a total of 52 weeks unpaid parental leave in
connection with the birth or adoption of a child, as provided by this Part.
(2) Parental leave is not to extend beyond 1 year after the child was born or
adopted.
