INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ACT 1996 - SECT 78
Obligations of employer under part-time work agreements
(1) A part-time work agreement must be retained by the employer during the
period of part-time work.
(2) The employer must give a copy of the agreement
to the employee immediately after it is made.
(3) The employer must send a
copy of the agreement to the Industrial Registrar not later than 1 month after
it is made.
(4) The copy of the agreement is to be made available by the
Industrial Registrar for public inspection during ordinary office hours. A
person may make copies of it on payment of such fee, if any, as is prescribed
by the regulations.
(5) This section extends to any variation of the
agreement.
: Maximum penalty--20 penalty units.
