Prohibition on providing money or extending credit for gambling
108 Prohibition on providing money or extending credit for gambling
(1) A responsible person for licensed premises must not do either of the
following for the purpose of enabling another person to gamble on the
licensed premises-- (a) provide money, as part of a transaction involving a
credit card or debit card, to the other person,
(b) extend another form of
credit to the other person.
: Maximum penalty--100 penalty units.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not apply to the extension of a cash advance in the form
of a prize or bonus provided as referred to in section 17(1) or 20(1)(b).
