"data" means any facts, statistics, instructions, concepts or other
information in a form that is capable of being communicated, analysed or
processed (whether by an individual or by a computer or other automated
means).
"insurer" means a licensed insurer or a former licensed insurer (including any
insurance broker or commission agent engaged in third-party insurance
business).
"relevant insurance or compensation authority" means a relevant authority for
the purposes of section 10 of the State Insurance and Care Governance Act
2015 , and includes authorities of the Commonwealth, the other States and
Territories that administer insurance or compensation schemes.
"this Act" includes the Motor Accidents Act 1988 and the Motor Accidents
Compensation Act 1999 .
