(1) A shipboard garbage management plan must be in writing and must contain the matters prescribed by the regulations.
(2) A shipboard garbage management plan must set out, but is not limited to, the following particulars:(a) the procedures for collecting, storing, processing and disposing of garbage, including the use of the equipment on board the ship for carrying out those procedures,(b) the person who is in charge of carrying out the plan.
