MODERN SLAVERY ACT 2018 - SECT 22
Functions of Committee
(1) The Modern Slavery Committee has the following functions under this Act--
(a) to inquire into and report on matters relating to modern slavery,
(b) to
report to both Houses of Parliament on matters relating to modern slavery.
(2) Nothing in this Division authorises the Modern Slavery Committee to
investigate a matter relating to particular conduct.
(3) The Commissioner
may, as soon as practicable after a report of the Modern Slavery Committee has
been tabled in a House of Parliament, make and furnish to the
Presiding Officer of that House a report in response to the report of the
Committee.
