33 Relationship to Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997
(1) This Act is to be read and construed as being in addition to and not in
derogation of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 .
(2)
Chapter 7 (Investigation) and Chapter 8 (Criminal and other proceedings) of
the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 apply to this Act and
the regulations.
