PROPERTY (RELATIONSHIPS) ACT 1984 - SECT 54
Failure to comply with injunction
54 Failure to comply with injunction
(1) A person against whom an injunction under section 53 has been granted and
who-- (a) has been served personally, in the prescribed manner, with a copy of
the order under section 53 by which the injunction was granted, and
(b) after
having been so served, knowingly fails to comply with a restriction or
prohibition specified in the order,
shall be guilty of an offence and liable
on conviction before a Magistrate to imprisonment for 6 months.
(2) Nothing
in subsection (1) affects the power of a court to punish a person for contempt
of court.
