PRIVATE HEALTH FACILITIES ACT 2007 - SECT 36
Overcrowding
36 Overcrowding
(1) The licensee of a private health facility must not cause or permit the
number of patients accommodated at any one time in a ward of the facility to
exceed the number of patients specified in the licence in relation to that
ward of the facility. : Maximum penalty--1,000 penalty units.
(2) The
licensee is not guilty of an offence under this section in respect of anything
done in an emergency.
