PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT ADMINISTRATION ACT 1991 - SECT 12A
Environmental assessment
(1) The Authority is not a determining authority within the meaning of Part 5
of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 in respect of an
approval (within the meaning of that Part) under the
environment protection legislation that consists of the renewal of a licence
or the renewal of a certificate of registration.
(2) This section applies in
respect of such an approval in force (or purporting to be in force) at the
commencement of this section or granted after the commencement of this
section.
