RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES ACT 2010 - SECT 224
Regulations
224 Regulations
(1) The Governor may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, for or
with respect to any matter that by this Act is required or permitted to be
prescribed or that is necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying
out or giving effect to this Act.
(2) In particular, regulations may be made
for or with respect to the following matters-- (a) a standard form or forms of
residential tenancy agreement,
(b) a standard form or forms of condition
report,
(c) forms for notices under this Act,
(d) the periods for which
records under this Act or the regulations must be kept,
(e) the times within
which applications must be made to the Tribunal under this Act or the
regulations.
(3) A regulation may create an offence punishable by a penalty
not exceeding 10 penalty units.
