Notification of serious offences committed by members of staff
21B Notification of serious offences committed by members of staff
(1) A member of staff who: (a) is charged with, or who is found guilty of, an
offence that is punishable by imprisonment for 12 months or more, or
(b) is
charged with, or who is found guilty elsewhere than in New South Wales of an
offence that, if it were committed in New South Wales, would be an offence so
punishable,
must immediately report that fact to the TAFE Commission.
(2) On
becoming aware of the fact that a member of staff has been charged with, or
has been found guilty of, an offence referred to in subsection (1), the person
in charge of the TAFE establishment at which the member is employed must also
immediately report that fact to the TAFE Commission.
