CRIMES (ADMINISTRATION OF SENTENCES) REGULATION 2014 - REG 76

76 Number of visits
(1) An unconvicted inmate may be visited once as soon as practicable after
reception into a correctional centre and afterwards at least twice weekly.
(2) A convicted inmate may be visited once as soon as practicable after
conviction and afterwards at the intervals the governor determines.
(3)
However, an extreme high risk restricted inmate may be visited once a week
only, or more often if the Commissioner so determines.
(4) A civil inmate may
be visited daily, as often and for so long as the governor determines.
(5)
The governor of a correctional centre may permit additional visits to an
inmate, particularly in the case of an inmate who is dangerously ill.
