Commencement of proceedings
3.2 Commencement of proceedings
(1) For the purposes of section 50(1) of the 1986 Act, a court attendance
notice commencing proceedings for an indictable offence is to be in the
approved form.
(2) For the purposes of section 50(4) of the 1986 Act, the
court attendance notice must include the following matters in addition to
those required by section 50(3) of the 1986 Act-- (a) the time and date of the
alleged offence or, if the exact time and date are not known or the alleged
offence occurred over a period of time, the period of time during which the
offence is alleged to have occurred,
(b) the place where the offence is
alleged to have occurred.
