New South Wales Consolidated Regulations New South Wales Consolidated RegulationsThe construction or installation of any of the following structures over a window or door opening is development specified for this code if the structure is not constructed or installed on or in a heritage item or a draft heritage item--
(a) an awning or canopy associated with a residential use,
(b) a blind (including a storm blind, security blind or sun blind) or similar structure for any purpose.
