(1) The minimum landscaped area that must be provided on a lot is 50% of the lot area minus 100m 2.
(2) At least 25% of the area of the lot forward of the building line must be landscaped.
(2A) At least 50% of the area required to be landscaped under subclause (1) must be located behind the building line.
(3) Each landscaped area must have--(a) a minimum width of 1.5m, and(b) a minimum length of 1.5m.
(4) The principal private open space that must be provided for each dwelling is--(a) for a 1 bedroom dwelling or a studio--8m 2 with a minimum width of 2m, and(b) for a dwelling with 2 bedrooms--12m 2 with a minimum width of 2m, and(c) for a dwelling with 3 or more bedrooms--16m 2 with a minimum width of 2m.
(5) This clause does not apply to complying development that is the alteration of, or addition to, a dual occupancy or manor house if the development does not--(a) increase the footprint of the dual occupancy or manor house, or(b) decrease the landscaped area on the lot, or(c) decrease the principal private open space for a dwelling, or(d) change the number of dwellings on the lot.Note 1 :
