STATE ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING POLICY (EXEMPT AND COMPLYING DEVELOPMENT CODES) 2008 - REG 3B.38

3B.38 Dwelling configuration on lot

(1) Each dwelling must face a public road.

(2) No dwelling must be located behind another dwelling on the same lot.

(3) Each terrace must have a minimum width (measured at the building line) of--

(a) where a car space is accessed from a primary road--3m, or

(b) in any other case--6m.

(4) The width of a terrace is to be measured from the centre of a side wall if that wall adjoins another terrace or from the outside of the side wall if that wall is an external wall.

(5) In this clause--

"terrace" means a single dwelling in multi dwelling housing (terraces).
