LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AREAS) ACT 1948 - SECT 1

1 Name of Act and construction

(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Areas) Act 1948 .

(2) This Act shall be read and construed with the Local Government Act 1919 , as amended by subsequent Acts.
