This legislation has been repealed.
(1) The Director-General may, by order published in the Gazette, declare:(a) that a health service controlled by an area health service constituted under the Health Services Act 1997 , or(b) that a specified health service that is not controlled by an area health service so constituted,is a health care agency for the purposes of this Act.
(2) The Director-General must not make an order under this section unless the Director-General is satisfied that the health service is able to provide the care and treatment necessary under a community counselling order or a community treatment order and that the health service complies with any standards prescribed for the purposes of this section.
