This legislation has been repealed.
(1) If a person detained under a public health order or following apprehension under section 29 escapes from the place of detention, he or she may be apprehended at any time by:(a) the person for the time being in charge of the place from which the person escaped, or(b) an authorised medical practitioner, or(c) a police officer, or(d) any person assisting a person referred to in paragraphs (a)-(c).
(2) On being apprehended, the escapee must be returned to the place from which he or she escaped.
