Stopping and giving way at a stop sign at a level crossing

121 Stopping and giving way at a stop sign at a level crossing

A driver at a level crossing with a stop sign must:

(a) stop at the stop line or, if there is no stop line, at the stop sign, and
(b) give way to any train or tram on, approaching or entering the crossing.

Note 1 :
"Approaching" ,
"enter" ,
"stop line" and
"tram" are defined in the dictionary.
Note 2 : For this rule,
"give way" means the driver must remain stationary until it is safe for the driver to proceed--see the definition in the dictionary.
