WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY (NATIONAL UNIFORM LEGISLATION) ACT 2011 (NO 39 OF 2011) - SECT 188

    (1)     A person must not intentionally hinder or obstruct an inspector in exercising his or her compliance powers, or induce or attempt to induce any other person to do so.

Maximum penalty:

    (a)     in the case of an individual – $10 000; or

    (b)     in the case of a body corporate – $50 000.

    (2)     Section 12B does not apply to an offence against subsection (1).
