2015 A Bill for An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay amounts from the consolidated fund for particular departments for the financial year starting 1 July 2014 and to amend the Financial Accountability Act 2009 for a particular purpose

Appropriation Bill (No. 2) 2015 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1 Part 1 Preliminary 2 1 Short title 3 This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act (No. 2) 2015. 4 Note-- 5 Under the Financial Accountability Act 2009, section 5, words used in 6 this Act that are defined under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 7 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary 8 intention in this Act. 9 2 Commencement 10 Part 3 commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation. 11 Part 2 Supplementary appropriation 12 for 2014-15 13 3 Supplementary appropriation for 2014-15 based on 14 unforeseen expenditure included in the consolidated 15 fund financial report 16 (1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $9,110,000 from the 17 consolidated fund for departments as stated in schedule 1 for 18 the financial year starting 1 July 2014. 19 (2) For each department, the total amount mentioned for the 20 department in schedule 1 is appropriated for the financial year 21 for the department for application to its departmental services, 22 equity adjustment and administered items as stated in 23 schedule 1. 24 Page 4
