(1) The QBCC commissioner may, on the ground that a pool safety inspector is not a suitable person to hold a licence, do either of the following to the inspector’s licence—(a) amend it to impose or remove a condition;(b) cancel or suspend it.
(2) The power under subsection (1) may be exercised at any time after the commissioner has complied with subdivision 2 .
(3) To remove any doubt, it is declared that the commissioner can not, under subsection (1) , amend, cancel or suspend the pool safety inspector’s licence if the commissioner considers the inspector is not a suitable person to hold a licence only because a ground for disciplinary action is established.Note—The power of the commissioner under this section does not limit the power of the commissioner to take disciplinary action under part 7 (Complaints, investigations and disciplinary proceedings relating to pool safety inspectors).
