CRIME AND CORRUPTION ACT 2001 - SECT 200
Conduct that is contempt and offence
200 Conduct that is contempt and offence
(1) If conduct of an offender is both contempt of the presiding officer
conducting a commission hearing and an offence, the offender may be proceeded
against for the contempt or for the offence, but the offender is not liable to
be punished twice for the same conduct.
(2) In this section—
"offender" means a person guilty, or alleged to be guilty, of contempt of the
presiding officer conducting a commission hearing.
