CRIME AND CORRUPTION ACT 2001 - SECT 325
Acting monitor
325 Acting monitor
(1) The Governor in Council may appoint a person qualified to be appointed as
the public interest monitor to act as the public interest monitor— (a)
during a vacancy in the office; or
(b) during any period, or all periods,
when the public interest monitor is absent from duty or from the State or, for
another reason, can not perform the duties of the office.
(2) The Governor in
Council may appoint a person qualified to be appointed as a deputy public
interest monitor to act as a deputy public interest monitor— (a) during a
vacancy in the office; or
(b) during any period, or all periods, when a
deputy public interest monitor is absent from duty or from the State or, for
another reason, can not perform the duties of the office.
