CONSTITUTION OF QUEENSLAND 2001 - SECT 24
Appointment of Assistant Ministers
24 Appointment of Assistant Ministers
(1) The Governor in Council may appoint members of the Legislative Assembly as
Assistant Ministers.
(2) However, a Minister or member of Executive Council
may not be appointed as an Assistant Minister.
(3) To remove any doubt, it is
declared that an Assistant Minister is not a Minister of the State.
