Revocation of suspension
67F Revocation of suspension
(1) The police commissioner may at any time revoke a suspension made under
this division if the commissioner believes, on reasonable grounds— (a) the
reportable offender poses, or may pose, a risk to the lives or sexual safety
of 1 or more children, or of children generally; or
(b) if the
reportable offender has a cognitive or physical impairment—the impairment is
not, or is no longer, a significant impairment; or
(c) if the offender has a
mental illness—the illness is not, or is no longer, a significant mental
illness.
(2) If the police commissioner revokes a suspension, the police
commissioner must give the reportable offender written notice of the
revocation as soon as reasonably practicable.
(3) The revocation takes effect
when the police commissioner gives the notice to the reportable offender.
