CHILD PROTECTION (OFFENDER REPORTING AND OFFENDER PROHIBITION ORDER) ACT 2004 - SECT 7
Corresponding reportable offender and corresponding reportable offence defined
7 Corresponding reportable offender and corresponding reportable offence
defined
(1) A
"corresponding reportable offender" is a person who— (a) has, at any time,
been convicted of a corresponding reportable offence; and
(b) falls within a
class of person whom a regulation states is a corresponding
reportable offender.
(2) A
"corresponding reportable offence" is an offence against a law of a foreign
jurisdiction if a person convicted of the offence would be required to report
to the corresponding registrar in the foreign jurisdiction because of the
conviction.
