(1) The fact that an offence for which a reportable offender has been convicted becomes spent does not affect—(a) the status of the offence as a reportable offence under this Act in relation to the offender; or(b) any reporting obligations of the offender.
(2) For this section, an offence becomes spent if, under a law in any jurisdiction, the reportable offender is allowed to not disclose the fact that the person was convicted of the offence.
