CHILD PROTECTION (OFFENDER REPORTING AND OFFENDER PROHIBITION ORDER) ACT 2004 - SECT 85

85 New South Wales reportable offenders

(1) This section applies to a person who—

(a) was, immediately before the commencement, a New South Wales reportable offender under the pre-amended Act, section 8; and

(b) would, except for the amendment made by the amending Act, have continued to be a New South Wales reportable offender for a period (the
"remaining reporting period" ) after the commencement.

(2) The person is taken to be a corresponding reportable offender under this Act until—

(a) the remaining reporting period ends; or

(b) the person otherwise stops being a reportable offender.
