ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1994 - SECT 111
What is a petroleum activity
A
"petroleum activity" is—
(a) an activity that, under the Petroleum Act 1923
, is an authorised activity for a 1923 Act petroleum tenure under that Act; or
(b) an activity that, under the P&G Act , is an authorised activity for a
petroleum authority under that Act; or
(c) exploring for, exploiting or
conveying petroleum resources under a licence, permit, pipeline licence,
primary licence, secondary licence or special prospecting authority granted
under the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982 .
