320DA Duty of owner, occupier or auditor to notify administering authority
(1) A person mentioned in section 320A (2) (a) must, within 24 hours after
becoming aware of the matter mentioned in section 320A (2) (b) (i) or (ii) ,
give the administering authority written notice of the matters stated in
subsection (2) , unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Penalty—
Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.
(2) The notice must state— (a) the
nature of the matter; and
(b) the circumstances in which the person became
aware of the matter.
(3) A person mentioned in section 320A (2) (a) must,
within 20 business days after becoming aware of an activity mentioned in
section 320A (2) (b) (iii) , give the administering authority written notice
of the activity, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Penalty—
Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.
